Resource Ecological Assessment in Monbon Island, Mondragon, Northern Samar

The Resource Ecological Assessment (REA) in Monbon Island was conducted last June 2015 by Laarni Paraboles, Mechael Mag-aso and Rey Tayabas of CERD, with the help of Manu Maco of the MALASUGI municipal fisherfolk federation, Manu Pepit, Manu Etoy and Kagawad Mechael. The REA results will serve as baseline data after the declaration of this area as sanctuary. Construction of guardhouses  and installation of the markers and bouys will follow.
